Custom oil pan extension with baffle plates.
Custom accessories pulleys to fit the ATI RB26 balancer, and Goleby adjustable cam gears. In the end, I've decided to go with these newly-released PRP adjustable cam gears instead of the Goleby ones I had.
5-0 Ignite cam and crank trigger kit.
Custom pedal covers; pretty self-explanatory.
Got some ARP main crank studs and intake and exhaust manifold studs, along with some extra AN fittings and TAARKS alloy half moon seals.
Got 4 of these, these are harder to find than I initially thought, at least where I live. I wanted to get the NGK BCPR7E-11s, couldn't find any, so I got the DENSO equivallent; also got a custom coil cover for the VAG coils from 5-0 Ignite.
Dayco timing kit with water pump & gaskets and seals.
Customized dashboard gauges, made in Poland.
Custom twin scroll, twin wastegate manifold from Soara Performance, Ukraine. I coated it in ceramic coating, along with the turbo exhaust housing. Notice the flange I got earlier.
Got a HKS SSQV3 BOV and a Z32 1 1/16 brake master cylinder (painted them black), along with K&N air and oil filters.
Got some Altia N1 (Enkei, confirmed with them) wheels and got them professionally reconditioned.
Ok, quite a few stuff to show here.. 400lph fuel pump kit for S13 from TI Automotive, cusco side pillar bars, TTT hatch bar, UR floor bar, flywheel bolts, Cometic MLS HG, OEM overflow tank...
Black Diamond 280 mm fronts & 297 mm rear discs and brake pads to match.
Camtech intake and exhaust cams, advertised duration: 264 degrees, lift: 8.9 mm. No longer in production, unfortunately.
Fully PnP (Plug and Play) VAG (4-pin) ignition conversion harness and U5014 coils.
Got a CNC custom torque plate made just for the CA18, to be used when honing the cylinders.
2 x TiAl MV-S external wastegates with springs & clamps, along with flanges for the mani.
Injector Dynamics Bosch ID1050X injectors fitted to custom-made fuel rail.
AEM custom boost, AFR and oil pressure gauges, along with some more generic oil and water temp gauges.
Mishimoto radiator, J-Line intercooler and 19-row thermostatic oil cooler kit just came in.
Mallory FPR and K-Tuned pressure gauge and fuel filter got delivered today; mated them together, just for fun.
Having some spare time, I set up to refurbish the headlights and headlight supports; stripped them down, wirebrushed all the rust away, applied rust converter on the brushed spots, coated everything in zinc spray, then a final coat of color paint. I also fixed the plastic cover in the meantime.
The Kaaz 1.5-way LSD & DW lower control arms arrived today.
GKTech tension weld in plates, GKTECH Clutch Fan, GKTECH ABS delete kit, GKTECH Suspension Arms all around, GKTECH front & rear Z32 caliper conversion brake lines, Megan Racing bracing bar, GKTECH subframe bushes, GKTech subframe reinforcement plates and a Cusco strut tower reinforcement bar.
Ultra Racing chassis bracing bars all around.
HSD Monopro Coilovers, 7/5 kgs F/R.
Link G4+ plug & play standalone ECU for the CA18DET, plus a speedo recalibrator for the Z32 gearbox.
Z32 adapter plate, shifter bracket and PST carbon driveshaft. Plus some new valve seats, hydraulic lifters, a new CAS sensor and a gasket.
CPC Billet/carbon intake manifold, with provisions for water/meth injection and other ports for sensor/vacuum. I will probably have to apply a layer of epoxy at the seams, as some people have had the manifolds separate under high boost. If this is the case, I will most likely get a Plazmaman one and be done with it.
XTREME Twin Disc Ceramic 184 mm clutch kit.
Refurbished and rebuilt Z32 calipers, with rebuild kit from Z1 Motorsports.
ATI RB26 harmonic balancer, bronze alloy valve guides, alternator and PS pump belts, thermostat and housing, K&N oil filter, new oil pickup strainer, a new oil restrictor that goes in the block and a new main crank bolt...
Got one of these in good condition :) Holset HX35 with 12 cm housing. Need to remove the wastegate and weld the internal flap so I can run external WG.
Bought a full Type-X body kit, including rear lights; ended up getting a new OEM front bumper with accessories and lights, since the fiberglass one just wasn't cutting it.
Got a custom exhaust manifold flange made, thick and nice and straight. It will be used to build the custom exhaust manifold.
Z32 (300ZX) gearbox, way more reliable and for sure will hold my intended power levels.
I've sorted out the alternator, I've replaced the bearings and it doesn't squeak anymore. Cleaned everything inside and coated it in some nice paint. Let's hope it charges well *fingers-crossed*.
I've finally finished refurb'ing the PS pump. It was full of solidified deposits of PS fluid.
Bought the main and rod bearings from Clevite (Mahle); standard size.
The new oil pump has arrived today; I opened it up and confirmed it is the new design, which works well.
The forged Pauter Machine NIS-200-480-1330F 4340 rods fitted with ARP 2000 rod bolts finally arrived today. Pretty happy with them.
Got my forged pistons today, CP Carrillo 83.5 mm oversize, 8.5:1 standard compression ratio.
The new OEM crankshaft is here ! Standard size, looks pretty.
Bought some misc OEM parts for the rebuild, as seen in the pics.
I've finally finished painting my rocker covers, not before cleaning them on the inside of all the oil deposits and gunk.
Well, the car finally arrived, after more than a year of hard work and money saving.
It’s just as I wanted it to be, ’93 model, CA18DET, ~110.000 miles / 174.000 km. Runs nice, almost no rust, the hood needs to be fixed...
